Sorry it’s been a slow month for posts! I have been traveling for much of April, and I’m still trying to get caught up. I have lots of images and video to share from Wyoming and South Dakota, but I’m trying to get moved into my new office and prepare for my Lightrom class next week too!

I’ve got several products I want to review. I used the Manfrotto L-bracket with my Manfrotto 701 video head for all of my shooting out west. It was nice to have the video head full-time, and I didn’t miss my ballhead much. The only real bother was leveling the tripod legs each time I set it up. I’ll post a full report soon.

I also used the Panasonic 100-300mm M4/3 lens a lot on the trip. This is the second time I’ve had a copy of this lens, and I went out of my way to get the best quality I could wring out of it. Overall I was really happy with the results. Look for a video with some tips and tricks soon.

In addition to the video above, you can check out a gallery of my wild west photos over at Google+. Now I’ve got to get back to WORK!

Excellent shots, Rob. Brings back memories of my several trips to that area. Well done.
