If you’re like me you’re still searching for the perfect camera bag. The search became more complicated when I began shooting with smaller LUMIX cameras and lenses. Most “pro” bags are designed for larger gear, while the “mirrorless” bags offered by most companies are decidedly consumer oriented. I’m looking for pro quality gear that is just a bit more shallow than the average Pro bag.
I Have been dragging the new Manfrotto Pro Backpack 30 around for a few weeks. While it is a bit deeper than I would like, it holds a ton of gear and it has some really handy features. Check out the video to see the Manfrotto Pro 30 stuffed with LUMIX Micro Four Thirds equipment.
Probably the best review of that bag on the net, including Manfrotto’s own video. Thanks.
I don’t live near a camera store where I can try out gear. So everything is done online. I am looking for a bag to hold a Canon 1D IV perhaps a 100-400, 16-35, telex tender, and a Sony A6000 during plane travel or when traveling to a shoot, which might mean hiking somewhere.
Any other suggestions for a bag with access to the 1D with a lens mounted. I prefer a quick access rather than opening the whole bag to get at the camera. There are so many bags and each has good and bad features. Any advice will help. Thanks.
Thanks! I would imagine the Manfrotto bag would be great with your 1D
