I had the pleasure of shooting my friend Lew Hands’ wedding a week ago. It was a rainy day so we didn’t get to take advantage of the beautiful grounds around the venue, but Lew and Sasha were good sports and we made some great shots anyway.
I used two LUMIX GX7 cameras for the event. One with the LUMIX 12-35mm f2.8 lens, and the other with the LUMIX 35-100mm f2.8 lens. I also used the LUMIX 20mm f1.7 and LUMIX/Leica 45mm macro lenses. Both cameras had a LUMIX FL360-L in the hotshoe.
I used a Metz 52af-1 speedlight as a main light for the formal portraits. Nothing fancy, I just bounced it off of the relatively low ceiling. I used RC mode in the camera and an FL360-L as a commander flash to drive the Metz.
