I fell in love with the Olympus E-M1X the first time I used it. As I have used it and poured over the manual I’ve come up with a few tips and tricks that I think might help a few of you make the most of your camera. As a side note, many of these tips also apply to the Olymps E-M1mkII.

Hello Rob,
I have the EM 1 Mkii. You mention these 2 videos also apply to the EM 1 mkii.
First, My EM 1 mkii doesn’t have a “my settings” option. I’m referring to where you have set up the hi res to be in your “my settings”.
second, Also what has to be set to get my hi resolution to be ON. I do have it ck√ in my set up.
when I go into ==>menu
==>hi res
I selected the 0 sec. delay of the shutter. (or any other delay time)
and it still remains to show as OFF.
And it doesn’t appear in the choices when I select the shortcut button that is located at the on/ off switch.

You’re correct, not all of the settings work on the E-M1mkII. I have corrected the post to read “Many of these tips apply to the E-M1mkII”.
Be sure to press OK after you select the delay time for your hi res shot in the menu. That should fix you up!
